January Dressage Article.

Results of the SJ Competition.
Katherine Stone won two classes, as well as featuring in the placings of another class, on a very windy day at Todburn! Results of the Show Jumping classes, including Ride & Relax and Dengie qualifiers were as follows:

New monthly series of Dressage Articles!
We have now introduced a monthly, dressage based, information feature. Chrissie Havis will be discussing a wide variety of issues, to help newcomers understand dressage more clearly. Chrissie is German trained and is a dressage specialist. Before living in Germany for nearly four years, she was on the Great Britain Junior team, winning team bronze and being selected three times for the GB Young Rider Squad. She competed successfully at Advanced level up to Intermediare 1, both here in the UK and in Germany. Chrissie is a List 4 judge, BHS registered instructor, BD Trainer and is the BD Northern Region Development Officer.

Results of Arena Show X.
A very chilly start didn''t deter competitiors from attending the Arena Show X at Todburn. With a variety of show jumps and XC fences, ranging from banks, corners,roll tops,coffins etc. to test the skills of juniors and seniors alike, the courses provided a good test for all standards.

Results of SJ & CT Competition.
Richard Corbett dominated the first two SJ classes at Todburn. The Combined training classes were won by Sherri Took, Jill Blackshaw and Emily Hattrick. The results were as follows:

Results of the SJ R&R & Dengie Qualifiers
A good standard of show jumping was on display at Todburn today. Several juniors and seniors qualified for The Ride & Relax Regional final next year. Four riders qualified for the Area competition of the Dengie Winter League Show Jumping class, to be held in 2007.
