Results of the Dressage Competition. |
|
The Novice classes today were dominated by Sarah Winfield on the impressive Frosty, who scored good percentages in both tests.
The Prelims were won by Susan Whitehead and her lovely horse Tess, who again produced a good test to score in the 70s, as did Matt Earith and the smart bay, Bentley.
The Pony Club Novice Dengie was a popular win for Morpeth member, Kate Riley, and Rachel Coulthard, from the Braes of Derwent, took first place in the Open Pony Club section. |

Morpeth Pony Club member, Anna Riley, had a successful day winning two classes and qualifying for the next round of the Pony Club Dengie class.
There were wins also, for Katy Gaylor, Lauren Clark and Laura Rutherford. |

Well it was brilliant to see so many people make an effort to get into the festive spirit!!!
Santas, reindeers, snowmen, fairies and my favourite.......The Fur coat and no knickers pair!!!
Well done to Abbie Curtis and Lauren Clarke from the Morpeth Pony Club and to Daniella Page form the Duke of Buccleugh, who qualified for the next round of the Pony Club Dengie competition.
Plenty of laughs were had, and we wish all our loyal supporters a fantastic Christmas and a successful New Year.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for an exciting 2012 at Todburn EC. |

Results of the Arena Show X |
|
On a gorgeous sunny day at Todburn, competitors enjoyed some educational rounds over a series of technical fences during the XC phase.
Lucy Grix did well to win the first class, which proved a little difficult for some of her opponents.
Emily Hughes, Daniella Page and Emma Dugdale triumphed in the remaiming classes, jumping a variety of off set doubles, pens, skinnies and water trays.
We hope to run more Arena Show X events in the coming months, weather depending! |
